President’s Advisory Council on Race Town Halls

Your Buffalo Center Chapter wishes to remind you of the various Town Halls scheduled for next week for the President’s Advisory Council on Race.

Each Town Hall will be addressing different topics.

President’s Advisory Council on Race:
Town Halls

Provost A. Scott Weber and the President’s Advisory Council on Race Implementation Committee (PACOR) invite the University at Buffalo community to three virtual town halls to discuss advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and justice at UB. During the town halls, the PACOR subcommittees will present their recommendations.

The town halls will be hosted by Suzanne Rosenblith, Dean of the Graduate School of Education, and Mark Alnutt, Vice President and Director of Athletics, who co-chair the PACOR Steering Committee.

Town hall dates and subcommittee presentations are as follows: 

March 15
Faculty Recruitment, Mentoring and Retention
Scholarship, Tenure and Recognition

March 16
Curriculum and Pedagogy
Student Experience and Programs
Inclusive Space

March 17
Staff Recruitment, Mentoring and Advancement
Community Engagement

All town halls will take place from 12:00-1:30PM.

Questions may be submitted to the panelists via Zoom during the town halls. Following each session, more extensive feedback may be submitted via the PACOR website through March 31.
