Colleagues,
The last week of October is Campus Equity Week which recognizes the contributions of Adjunct Faculty and brings attention to the inequities they face regarding compensation and job security. By participating in Campus Equity Week events we call upon the university to reduce these disparities and treat all employees with the dignity and respect they deserve.
This year, UUP’s Buffalo Center and Buffalo HSC chapters invite their members to participate in two different events:
Paint-A-Bull
Monday (10/26) at 6pm
Outside UB’s student union (50 Lee Rd, Buffalo, NY 14228)
Film Screening of ‘The Last Adjunct’ with snacks
Friday (10/30) at 6pm
UB’s South Campus (location to be confirmed)
In Solidarity,
Grady Gambrel
Officer of Contingents
