We are now in the process of voting on our contract and we are hoping that you will show the governor that you care about our union by voting. The more votes we have, the more the governor thinks we are serious about our union. Only members who were on payroll prior to June 4, 2026 are eligible to vote.
If you’ve missed the tentative contract presentation, you can view it on the Members Only Site. If you can’t remember your Member ID, please call the Benefit Trust Fund at 1-800-887-3863. They will provide you the ID number. While you are talking with them, you can also request a membership card with the ID on it.
MK Elections mailed ratification postcards to members who are eligible to vote last week to your homes. These postcards are member-specific; each postcard will have an individualized access code that will allow that member to vote.
MK Elections also sent an email with the information in the postcard—including the individualized access code and a link to the online ballot—to members eligible to vote. Please check your spam, junk, Quarantined, and “Other” (if using Outlook) folders if you did not receive it.
Members who don’t receive correspondence from MK Election Services and believe they are eligible to take part in the contract vote should call them at 203-403-8401.
Electronic voting will close at 5 pm on July 27, 2026.
