Reminder – This Thursday is a Day of Service to Honor Tops Shooting Victims and Community: 5:30 – 8:00 PM

Colleagues,

Just a reminder to invite you to participate in the May 14, 2026 – Day of Service & Remembrance: Start with Service – End in Community, a city-wide day of service, action, and connection, honoring the lives lost in Buffalo, NY.

On May 14, 2022, ten lives were stolen in an act of white supremacist violence at the Tops supermarket on Jefferson Avenue. They were mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, protectors, caretakers, advocates—people who held families and communities together.

Lend a hand with UUP Statewide President Fred Kowal and our WNY UUP members as we volunteer for post-event breakdown and cleanup! We’re teaming up from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to ensure our community space is respected and well-maintained.

REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE
and we will send a follow up email with details, including the
specific service location and Danielle’s phone number so people can call if needed.

This is a FREE family event filed with a full day of activities for all. Bring your children, neighbors, and friends. This is also a great opportunity for high school students to volunteer for community service hours
