Contract negotiations are underway, and we want to make sure that every UUP member is educated and involved. Please join us for an upcoming Contingent Faculty Negotiations Town Hall to learn about the status of UUP/New York State contract negotiations and ask questions.
In solidarity with Campus Equity Week, a national week of action to highlight the structural inequities that characterize contingent employment, we will be hosting two virtual town halls focused specifically on contractual proposals for contingent employees. All are welcome to attend, but the focus of these two sessions will be on UUP’s efforts during bargaining to improve the working conditions of contingent employees. UUP Chief Negotiator Bret Benjamin and Counsel to the President Elizabeth Hough will host these virtual town halls.
Contingent Faculty Negotiations Town Halls will be held on the following dates:
