Dear Colleagues,
Here is the latest update regarding Monday morning’s Labor Day Parade. It is different than what has been done in past years.
- Lineup for the Labor Day Parade will be on Dorrance Ave, Buffalo, 14218 @ 11:00am and the parade starts at Noon.
- Buses will shuttle marchers from Cazenovia Park, starting at the Peter J. Crotty Casino to Dorrance Ave. from 10:30am -11:45am. This will eliminate congestion at the beginning of the parade and members don’t have to walk back to their cars at the end.
- Check in with parade staff upon arrival. The parade staff will be on or around picnic and parade start wearing identifying fluorescent yellow shirts. They will help us find our line up spot.
- Buses will also be in the parade. Any retired members wishing to ride may do so on a first come basis.
- The picnic is at the Casino Shelter in Cazenovia Park,. Food will be served starting at 1:00 p.m.
- For marchers who park their vehicles at the beginning of the parade route, buses will be available from 1:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. to return to their vehicles.
