The newly elected Buffalo Center Chapter Board, as part of their recent June meeting held last week, completed approvals of appointed Chapter Officer positions, and confirmed Chairs and Board Liasons to the Chapter’s Standing Committees.
The Buffalo Center Chapter Board is proud to announce the following Officer Appointments for the June 1st, 2021 – May 31st, 2023 Term:
- Grievance Officer for Academics – Carine Mardorossian
- Grievance Officer for Professionals – Moriah Hegmann
- Membership Development Officer – Domenic Licata
- Political Outreach Officer – Alex Desha
- Parliamentarian – Vince Harzewski
The Buffalo Center Chapter Board also is proud to announce the following Chairs and Board Liaisons for the Chapter’s Standing Committees:
- Affirmative Action -Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer – Jessica Labella (elected Officer).
- Outreach – Political Action/Outreach/VOTE Cope –Alex Desha (appointed Officer).
- Membership – Membership Officer –Dominic Licata (appointed Officer).
- Health & Safety Health Committee – Don Erb (elected Board Member)
- Women’s Rights and Concerns – Barbara Wejnert (Chair)– Jessica Labella (Board Liaison)
- Opportunity Programs – Shirley Bennett (elected Board Member), and Nancy Lane (elected Board Member).
The Chapter will be sending a “Call Out” to the membership in the near future for those members who would like to join a Chapter Committee.
