RALLY for RESPECT – Event Schedule

Monday – February 26th

  • Informational Table outside of Commons (lunch hour)
    **Volunteers Needed**

It is imperative that we show strength and solidarity by ensuring a big turnout. As part of this, we are setting up a booth at the UB Commons to collect signatures and hand out information about the rally (and hopefully some swag) during the lunch period Monday through Wednesday next week.  If you are interested in volunteering to help man the table, please contact Alex Desha at adesha@buffalo.edu

  • Poster Making Party (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm)

We will be making posters on Tuesday night, all are welcome to stop by the UUP office and help make posters for the Rally on 3/1, in the Chapter Office (108 Commons)
Pizza and beverages provided


Wednesday – February 28th

Wear RED (UUP colors) as a show of solidarity


General Information

Email Tags –

As a show of solidarity, we are asking members to add the tagline “Proud to be UUP! In support of a fair contract” in the bottom of your email.

Email “Away Message” –

If you can, we are asking members to put up an away message during the time of the rally (12-1 pm), saying “I am out of the office”

* Please note – reminder – if you are required to work during the rally, you cannot leave for the purposes of going to the rally.*
