Colleagues,
I’m here in Albany and I am happy to report that the negotiations committee has unanimously voted to send the tentative contract out to our members for ratification vote. All of our efforts to get to the table early and conclude an agreement before our present one expired have succeeded. Everyone is thrilled with this tentative agreement and hope that you all will be as well.
I want to extend my thanks out to so many of you and especially thanks to the Negotiations Team and our very own Abigail Cooke. This was not a light lift to get this done and included many hours and trips back and forth to Albany. Thank you Abigail for your commitment to UUP!!
