The UUP Contract Committee is asking for our support to help shine a spotlight on our top contract priorities with the Governor’s Office—and we’d love your help! While our office move makes it tricky to gather signed cards right now, there are still easy and impactful ways you can jump in.
Here’s how you can participate:
1️⃣ Share your voice with a short video.
We’re collecting quick, member-recorded video clips for social media. Simply say who you are and what matters most to you, for example:
- “I’m a UUP member, and I want a contract with fair wages that keep up with the cost of living.”
- “I want job security for contingent faculty.”
- “I support commonsense AI protections.”
- “I want a shorter time to permanency for professionals.”
UUP members are the heart of this campaign, and your voices help show what our union is fighting for.
2️⃣ Snap and share photos.
Photos of members signing or holding cards—solo or with colleagues—are also a great way to show our collective strength!
Once you have a photo or video, please upload it using our media intake form.
