Your UUP Buffalo Center Chapter has finally received approval that applications are now open for the IDA for the retro 4/1/23-7/1/23 timeframe.
GOER has yet to update the Program guidelines for the 7/2/23 – 7/1/24 timeframe and applications are not yet being accepted as the criteria for award evaluation seems to be changing substantially. The retro period being announced is following the 22-23 award guidelines/criteria.
The Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and United University Professions (UUP) announced the allocation of funds for Individual Development Awards (IDA), and the committee is now accepting application submissions for activity between April 1st, 2023-July 1st- 2023. This program is intended to assist eligible employees in the UUP bargaining unit in developing their full professional potential and in preparing for advancement by funding professional development activities. We are expecting to announce an additional timeframe of July 2, 2023- July 1, 2024 soon. Please look for further announcements.
