Dear Colleagues,
Recently, Nomination Forms for the upcoming UUP Buffalo Center Chapter elections were mailed out. I would encourage you to submit your name on this form if you are interested in running for a Chapter Office, Chapter Delegate, or Chapter Board Member position.
You may sign your name for any of the Officer positions you would like to run for.
In addition, the Chapter has multiple Academic and Professional Delegate Positions. These positions serve at the Statewide Delegate Assembly (traditionally twice a year from Thursday evening to Saturday morning at various locations), and represent the members of our Chapter on guiding and directing UUP Central. Please be sure to include your name under the Delegate section of the Nomination Form.
More importantly is the opportunity to serve as a Board Member for your UUP Buffalo Center Chapter! There are an unlimited number of seats, and everyone who receives at least 10 votes becomes a Board Member.
As a Board Member, you would be part of the group that makes decisions and approvals on the operations of the Chapter, offer suggestions for changes/additions to the operations of the Chapter, and approve major financial purchases of the Chapter. Board meetings are traditionally held monthly with a Noon start time, and last about 2 hours. If interested, please be sure to also add your name in the Delegate section of the Nomination Form.
