At the Fall 2016 Delegate Assembly, a constitutional amendment was passed by the body that requires all chapters to have an elected OFFICER for RETIREES by JUNE 1, 2017. The Winter 2017 Delegate Assembly met January 28-30, 2017 in Saratoga Springs NY.
NYS Comptroller, Thomas diNapoli, addressed the delegates at the assembly and acknowledged UUPers as front-line leaders on our campuses. His belief is that the NYS legislature “will be very open” to UUP’s advocacy this year, and encouraged our members to advocate with optimism and certainty. For more information CLICK HERE
