Did you know that SUNY allows for Extra Service Pay for work above and beyond your normally require professional obligation? Often times employees are asked to perform extra work tasks or take on duties that require additional hours beyond the work obligation of 37.5 hours per week. Compensation for extra service is not to exceed an amount equal to 20 percent of base salary in any academic or calendar year beginning July 1 or September 1, as appropriate.
