Colleagues,
Recently, there has been some discussion regarding a listserv titled UUP-AD. We want to clarify that this listserv is not an official communication channel of our UUP Chapter Office, nor is it affiliated with UUP Central. All official UUP Chapter Office communications are distributed through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or via targeted emails to specific member groups. Our Chapter does not manage or operate any general UUP listservs.
Please note that the UUP-AD listserv was created and currently is moderated by Paul Zarembka, a former Chapter officer and current member of our Executive Board. Its purpose is to foster open dialogue among UUP members on a broad range of topics and concerns. If you have questions or concerns about the listserv or its content, please direct them to Paul Zarembka.
UUP fully supports our members’ right to engage in dialogue and debate—and equally, their right to disengage. This includes both the freedom to participate in open discussion and the freedom from it, should they choose not to. Respecting these boundaries is essential to maintaining a healthy and inclusive union environment.
Thank you for your attention to this clarification.
Best,
Kathleen Kielar
Chapter President
UUP Buffalo Center
