Dear Colleagues,
As a reminder, there is a vacation day cap (40 days). Vacation leave credits may exceed 40 days during the calendar year, but the amount over 40 days must be used or it will be forfeited on the last day of the calendar year (December 31).
“Any such unused excess vacation credits as of the close of business on December 31st, 2025 will be forfeited by employees.”
Members are encouraged to schedule vacation time as there is still plenty of time to get accruals under 40 days, and not lose the earned benefit.
If you cannot use your days, I encourage you to donate unused vacation days. We have colleagues who can use those days for serious illnesses.
