Your UUP Benefit Trust Fund Trustees have exciting news to share with you!
Starting this spring semester, the BTF scholarship award will be $850.00 a semester. The previous award was
$750.00.
Also, our active members have a new enhancement to their vision program. On May 1, 2025, the non-plan frame allowance of $14.00 will increase to $60.00. Please note that the new vision enhancement only applies when using an in-network provider.
Coming soon, the Member Services Trust Fund will be adding two new Members Only benefits – (1) MetLife Pet Insurance and (2) MetLife Identity and Fraud Protection.
Additionally, the Benefit Trust Fund is actively looking into ways to improve our current dental benefit, given issues that have arisen with the lack of providers.
