As part of the Delegate Assembly held last week, plans for the upcoming Contract Negotiations were announced.
We are very honored to confirm that UUP Buffalo Center Chapter Member Abigail Cooke has been named to the 14 Member Negotiations Team!
The Team will be headed up again by Bret Benjamin and had their first meeting at this DA. The Team plans to send out surveys and hold chapter meetings this summer in hopes of being prepared to go to the negotiations table this Fall. Your participation as a Dues Paying Member will be important during the next few months. Updated information on the progress of contract negotiations will be found at the “Members Only” section of the UUP Website (uupinfo.org). As they are developed.
It is critically important that if you know of any non-dues paying members, that you encourage them to become dues paying members as soon as possible so that they too may participate in this very important process concerning the upcoming terms and conditions of our employment.
In addition, if you have not already done so, please forward to the Chapter your non-edu email address so that we can communicate additional important information to you.
