Remembering May 14th

Dear Colleagues,

One year ago, on May 14, 2022; a white supremacist gunman murdered 10 black citizens and wounded several others in a targeted attack at the Tops grocery store on Buffalo’s East Side.

One year later, the victim’s families, survivors, and greater community work to recover and heal.

An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. We are a loving community, and we will wrap our arms around those who continue to grieve for lost loved ones.

To say that our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and loved ones is never enough.

The Buffalo Center Chapter will continue to fight to silence the voices of racism and hate and be vocal against hate crimes while helping those in our community who are in need.

In Solidarity,

Ken Kern
Chapter President
