Paul Zarembka Retirement

Dear Colleagues,

Recently, it was announced that Paul Zarembka will be retiring from UB in mid-January and moving to a Research Professor title, reflective of his continued intentions regarding research. As a result, Paul will also be retiring from his position as Grievance Officer for the Buffalo Center UUP.

On behalf of the UUP Buffalo Center, I wish to congratulate Paul on his upcoming retirement, and more importantly recognize him for his many contributions to the UUP Buffalo Center.

Paul’s contributions to the Buffalo Center Chapter are immeasurable. Paul made a full commitment to the union in 1981 when he started an Academic Delegate and Board member. Paul was the Buffalo Center Chapter President (1991-1995), and has been our Chapter’s Grievance Officer for Academics for many years (1995-1997, 2007-2013, and 2014 – present). In addition to all these positions, Paul has been a very active member participating in many Buffalo Center Chapter committees, UUP Statewide committees, the Buffalo Labor Council of the AFL-CIO, NYSUT, and AFT.

The Buffalo Chapter will always remain in awe of the way Paul put his heart into his work for all these years. Paul not only made a huge difference, but also touched many lives along the way.

Join me in congratulating Paul on an outstanding career, and to thank him for the lasting contributions he has made to our Chapter. Please include your congratulatory comments and well wishes at: https://forms.gle/XPR1JAmA4yW8NFyE8

The UUP Buffalo Center congratulates Paul Zarembka, on a standout career and best wishes for his retirement!
