Time is running out to apply for the 2017 AFL-CIO Union Plus Scholarship, which offers awards of $500 to $4,000 to help union members and their children pay for college. Current and retired members, their spouses and dependent children are eligible to apply. The scholarships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

The Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $4 million to students of union families since 1992.
