UB Police have announced a pilot program to install FLOCK cameras on the North and South campuses. The recent announcement of the pilot program is concerning to many of our members and it is important that UPD hears directly from those who work here every day.
Please take a few minutes to complete UPD’s anonymous survey. UPD has put up an informational page as well.
Our office has already heard from many members who have raised thoughtful concerns and we hope you will also share your perspective through the survey so that member voices are clearly reflected in UPD’s evaluation of this program. I have already sent a series of questions to the administration and await to hear their response as to how data is collected, stored, and accessed. As I hear a response, I will let the membership know.
