The US Supreme Court recently made a unanimous decision in the Muldrow v St. Loius case that preserves the goal and intent of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which protects employees from discrimination in the workplace.
This is a major victory for worker’s rights in the Supreme Court. It basically says that a job transfer, even without a demotion or change in pay, can qualify as discrimination.
