Starbucks Support & Needed Help

Dear Colleagues,

Starbucks Workers United, the union that represents unionized Starbucks locations in New York and across the country, is asking union members and supporters to mark its first anniversary by signing it’s “No Contract, No Coffee Pledge”.

Since holding its first organizing meeting in August 2021, Starbucks Workers United has won union elections at 225 stores, representing more than 6,000 workers. Workers at a third of those stores have gone on strike, and more Starbucks locations are organizing.

By signing the pledge, supporters agree to join Starbucks picket lines and to educate their families and friends about the importance of signing the pledge and supporting Starbucks workers. People who sign the pledge will be contacted by the union to take part in events and other calls to action.

More importantly, Starbucks has now fired 10 union leaders across the city of Buffalo. We must let Starbucks know that Buffalo is a union town, and we will NOT accept union busting here. Starbucks is looking for our help for their first city-wide picket on Tuesday September 6th at select locations.
