- UUP Cortland requests an up-to-date copy of the University Budget.
New Business
- Reductions in PT/FT contingent academics, increased class sizes, and faculty workload concerns
- UUP has been informed that academic departments are being asked to identify all persons on PT term appointments.
- UUP Cortland requests to discuss options to support contingent members. What shared game plan can UUP and Management come up with to:
- support contingents as they are informed of the status of their term renewal/non-renewal
- seek to maintain their health insurance, reaching out to nearby campuses to assist our adjuncts in finding classes to teach (need at least 6 credits worth of courses at SUNY) and/or
- any unemployment benefits available to folks given nonrenewal.
- What other cost saving measures have been explored for the temp service budget?

- UUP Cortland requests management implement more liberal telecommuting to support members working through recent unexpected disruptions to their childcare.
- UUP Cortland requests information regarding policy for bringing children to an employee’s workspace.

- Provost: Update on the pay for faculty grading graduate student culminating exams when out of obligation (i.e., in summer).
- Provost: Updates for 2026-2027 regarding office hours expectations and faculty presence on campus.
