Dear Colleagues,
Your UUP Buffalo Center Chapter stands in support of President Satish K. Tripathi’s recent message regarding a Community of Mutual Respect. UUP continues to stand opposed to any form of disrespect, harassment, intolerance, bigotry, and oppression and further encourage our members to stand up to this abhorrent behavior and promoting a collegial, supportive environment where all can thrive academically and personally.
Should you see such behavior, please notify the University Police immediately by calling 716-645-2222 or by emailing ub-police@buffalo.edu.
Victims of such behavior can seek help by contacting one or several of the resources below:

This is a free service to all employees at the university that can assist with trauma, anxiety, and other concerns that you may have. All conversations are confidential.

UUP Buffalo Center Office – buffalocenter@uupmail.org or 716-276-3377
All members can talk with UUP Officers or our Labor Relations Specialist about incidents.
Mental and physical health are critically important to our daily jobs as mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, faculty, and colleagues. Please take care of yourselves while taking care of our university community.
You really do matter!
In Solidarity,
UUP Buffalo Center Leadership Team
