Colleagues,
We are seeking two members to serve on the College Committee on Professional Evaluation (per Appendix 28 of the UUP Contract). This committee plays a critical role in the review process when a professional employee receives an unsatisfactory evaluation and chooses to appeal. Nominations will be accepted until January 16th. Once we have all the candidates, we will hold an election that will run from January 19 – 29. Election results will be announced on January 30.
Committee Responsibilities:
All nominees must be prepared to serve as Chair, as the committee internally appoints this role.
The Chair is responsible for:
Collecting and organizing materials
Convening meetings and distributing materials to members
Drafting the final recommendation within the 25-day timeframe
