Dear Colleagues,
Hundreds of our fellow union colleagues at CWA Local 1133 went on strike as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, and they need our help!
Here are some ways to support them and what you can do to help:
- Walk the Picket Line (wear your UUP gear in support)! Sign Up Here
- Mercy Hospital is at 565 Abbott Road. The main picket will be at the hospital entrance at:
- 6:00 am – 8:00am (workers walk out at 6am to commence the strike)
- 11:00am – 1:00pm
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- There will be activities every day of the strike, we will keep you posted about when and where actions are going on.

- Get Lawn/Window Signs
- Come by CWA 1133 local office (821 Elk St. Buffalo) for lawn signs and window signs.
- We also need help delivering signs for community members who requested them, you can sign up to distribute signs here.
