Dear Colleagues,
We have questioned details with regards to the Daily Health Check modification notice sent last week Wednesday. The following are additional updates with regards to the Daily Health Check from Mark Coldren, Associate Vice President, Human Resources.
1. For individuals who do not have university issued cell phones: “There will be a web link available (as it is today) for folks to utilize. When the 2nd phase starts (September) – there will be options presented – including continuing to use the link.”
2. For individuals who do not have internet access from home: “If an individual does not have access to a mobile phone or computer at home, they can complete the Daily Health Check when they get to work. If they are feeling symptoms or are sick, they should not report to work – but should make sure and contact their supervisors if they are going to be out sick.”
3. For individuals on sabbatical: “An individual on a sabbatical would not be expected to complete a Daily Health Check – unless they would be coming on campus for any reason.”
As additional changes are being made to the Daily Health Check for Phase 2 implementation, please direct any additional questions you may have directly to Mark Coldren at mcoldren@buffalo.edu; and be sure to copy the Buffalo Center UUP. If you receive any additional information directly from Mark, please let the Buffalo Center UUP know so that we can inform all members.
In Solidarity,
