Dear Colleagues,
The Buffalo Center UUP Suite 108 office will be closed until further notice.
While our “physical” office remains closed, our “virtual” office remains open.
Please continue to contact the office phone (276-3377) and e-mail (buffalocenter@uupmail.org) if you have any questions/concerns.
Currently, Kristen is able to monitor and forward any communications made to the Buffalo Center office phone, and e-mail. I remain in contact with Kristen, Tara, Danielle, along with the Officers, Board, Department Reps, and Tom Tucker. In addition, I am participating in conference calls (currently twice a week), with our Statewide President, Fred Kowal.
Our union’s conversations with the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and SUNY are ongoing. We have been successful on several fronts to expand the number of our members who are excused from work or authorized to work from home.
