The UUP Individual Development Awards (IDA) program is intended to assist eligible full and part-time UUP represented employees in developing their full professional potential and in preparing for advancement. Funding may be awarded for enhancing teaching, research capabilities, and improving professional knowledge and skills. Funding may not be given to purchase equipment or supplies, such as books, software, professional dues, licensing costs, certification or examination fees. There is a July-to-July timeline for fundable activities. Please see application materials at the bottom of this page. The application is reviewed by a panel composed of three UUP Oneonta IDA Committee members and three SUNY Oneonta Employee Services staff.
