| Delegates to the 2009 Winter Delegate Assembly in Albany conducted business as usual Jan. 30-31. They debated policy, attended meetings, wrote and faxed lawmakers to support SUNY, listened to officers’ reports, and heard preliminary results of a gender inequity study. They also got a no-nonsense look at the challenges confronting public higher education—both in New York and around the country—and heard pledges from UUP and AFT leaders that their unions will stay the course.
