UUP’s communications efforts have again earned the union kudos in an international competition sponsored by the International Labor Communications Association (ILCA) for projects produced in 2007.
The union earned a second-place award for its annual TV advertising campaign, “SUNY is vital,” which featured SUNY students making the case for hiring more full-time faculty. UUP Director of Communications Denyce Duncan Lacy oversaw production of the 30-second advocacy ad.
The Voice earned an honorable mention for best publication design for “The Unkindest Cut,” right, designed by Publications Specialist Karen Mattison.
