Pre-Retirement Workshop
All UUP union members are invited to attend a Statewide Pre-Retirement Workshop with Walter Apple, Retiree Coordinator, that explains everything from who to talk with regarding retiring to the benefits that are provided to you through UUP.
This will be a two part webinar workshop. The first part will take place on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM which will cover healthcare/Medicare and the second part will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM which will cover Union benefits (dental/vision).

UUP Organizing Academy
UUP will be offering 15 different free workshop courses for those interested in strengthening and growing UUP. The workshops will focus on organizing conversations, organizing and developing stronger teams, building a presence, managing data, assessing and debriefing. The courses will be starting next week and will continue through the spring 2022 semester.

UUP will be offering a two part state-wide pre-retirement workshop on February 8 from 12:00 to 1:00 and February 10 from 12:00 to 1:00. The first part on February 8 will cover healthcare and Medicare and the second part on February 10 will cover Union benefits (dental and vision). You can register for either one or both parts of the workshop if you can’t attend or are only interested in one part of the workshop. If you have any specific questions in advance of the workshop, you can email them to the retiree coordinator, Walter Apple at wapple@uupbenefits.org by Friday, February 4.
If you are unable to attend the student debt clinic on the 19th (register here), there will be another virtual seminar on February 2nd from 5:00 to 6:30.
