UUP Meeting Thursday
Please join the chapter for a contract update meeting and luncheon on Thursday April 27, starting at 12:30 P.M.. The UUP Chief Negotiator, Bret Benjamin, will provide a contract negotiation update at 12:30 in CANR Lecture Hall, room 101. This will be followed by a short solidarity walk from CANR to the Carriage House to enjoy a complimentary grilled lunch supplied by UUP at 1:00 PM. Please join us and bring a friend!
On Wednesday, April 14th at 11:45, there will be a virtual panel featuring UUP’s own Fred Kowal (amongst other guests including Senator Sheldon Whitehouse) , which you can register for here, about the Supreme Court and the recent extremist changes that have been made in the last year, their overruling of long-established precedents, and what can be done for advocating for preventing future extremist rulings.
The next online statewide pre-retirement workshop will take place on April 10th and April 12th from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.. If you would like to register for it, please click here.
