The IDA is available to all UUP-represented employees and can reimburse expenses for professional development up to $2000. Follow all posted directions on the submission portal. If the directions are not adhered to, the application may be denied.<br><br>I would now like to address round 1. The application review is a 3-step process. The applications are first reviewed locally by the IDA chapter committee. They are then reviewed by labor relations locally. The final review is by the Office of Employee Relations (OER) in Albany. The local reviews have been completed, and the applications have been released to OER. Due to personnel issues in OER, there has been a delay in their review. The chapter does not have a specific date by which the review will be completed. We believe it will be before the May 31st deadline of round 2, so the monies are not mixed.
