Our\nobjective is to accurately represent concerns about the impacts of online\neducation on terms and conditions of employment, including workload,\ncompensation, intellectual property protection, the need for resources and\nsupport systems, involvement of private companies, etc. Please direct\ncolleagues to the following link, which provides background information and\naccess to a new web portal members can use to submit comments and suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/uupinfo.org\/negotiations\/onlineed.php\">http:\/\/uupinfo.org\/negotiations\/onlineed.php<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UUP\nwill discuss online education with SUNY and the Governor\u2019s Office of Employee\nRelations pursuant to Appendix A-13 in our 2016-22 contract, which states the\nfollowing: \u201cAs soon as practicable after a fully executed agreement,\nappropriate GOER, SUNY, and UUP designees shall meet to discuss and review\nissues of mutual concern related to the impact of online education initiatives\non bargaining unit employees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nSolidarity, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frederick\nE.
