The New York State/United University Professions Joint Labor-Management Committee (NYS/UUP JLMC) is pleased to announce that funding for the Individual Development Awards (IDA) Program is now available for projects or activities for the period July 2, 2024 -July 1, 2025.
Employees may be awarded a maximum of $2,000 for this award period. The total amount $2,000 can be spent on one activity or split between two activities. A separate application must be filled out for each activity. All activity must occur between July 2, 2024 and July 1, 2025.
The IDA Program is intended to assist eligible employees to develop their full professional potential and to prepare for advancement. Funding may be provided to enhance teaching, research capabilities, professional knowledge, and skills. Funding limitations are included in the Individual Development Awards Program Guidelines (see attached). Please make sure to read the guidelines before submitting your application as they have been updated.
