Any member of the bargaining unit (faculty and professional employees) can apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the guidelines provided by the UUP IDA Joint Labor-Management Committee website, proposed projects\/activities, which support professional development, can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic, applied, or historical research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curriculum or instructional material development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop, seminar internship or course work not covered by the Tuition Assistance program or SUNY tuition waiver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conference participation or attendance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation of material for publication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grant Proposal development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artistic or creative endeavors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other work-related professional\/scholarly development projects or activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the chapter can apply for up to <strong>$2000\/academic year for<\/strong> <strong>up to two projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact dollar amount awarded will be determined based on the number of applications received. Applications due on January 31, 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cycle #2:<\/strong> Activities between January 1, 2024 and July 1, 2024.
