{"id":454,"date":"2022-10-27T10:26:44","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T14:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/esc\/?p=454"},"modified":"2022-10-27T10:26:44","modified_gmt":"2022-10-27T14:26:44","slug":"flex-spending-account-open-enrollment-period","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/esc\/2022\/10\/27\/flex-spending-account-open-enrollment-period\/","title":{"rendered":"Flex Spending Account &#8211; Open Enrollment Period"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Just in from SUNY Empire:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Flex Spending Account (FSA) Open Enrollment Campaign for the 2023 plan year begins <strong><u>November 1 and ends December 12, 2022 at 11:59 pm ET.\u00a0 This deadline is strictly enforced.\u00a0 If you are enrolled for the 2022 plan year, you must re-enroll to continue your benefits in 2023.\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FSA program consists of three important benefits for employees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the Health Care Spending Account (HCSA \u2013 for at least half-time, annually paid employees only)<\/li><li>the Dependent Care Advantage Account (DCAA)<\/li><li>the Adoption Advantage Account<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible employees may choose to enroll in any or all of the accounts.
