Dear Colleagues:<\/p>\n
As we discussed on our recent conference call, the deficit reduction repayments will be coming to an end very soon. That means the seven lag days’ pay that was taken out of our paychecks early in our last contract will be fully repaid. Bargaining unit members who were subject to the DRP will notice a slight decrease in take home pay once the repayment ends.<\/p>\n
We have been informed by GOER that the last paycheck which will include a DRP repayment is December 13, 2017. There is also going to be a “catch up” payment in the December 27th paycheck if the entire amount was not paid back.<\/p>\n
Please disseminate this information to all UUP members utilizing campus e-mail. It’s imperative that members understand why their paycheck will shrink.<\/p>\n
