Survey flier – Contingent Academics – New Handout

Dear Chapter Leaders,

I write to enlist your help in circulating the UUP Contingent Employment Committee’s Survey for Academic Contingent Employees. The survey is the result of almost two years of work by the statewide Contingent Employment Committee, co-chaired by Jackie Pittsley (Cortland) and Ben Allocco (Oswego). The objective of the survey is to better understand the concerns and experiences of SUNY part-time and full-time academic contingent employees, ultimately to better support them. We anticipate the results of this survey informing future reports and initiatives. Contingent academics are of course diverse and it is important that we reach those who work on our campuses and in other locations.

cecTakeTheSurveyFlier

Campus Equity Week provides a great opportunity to promote the survey. Please share this link as widely as possible:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UUPAcademicContingents

Chapter officers and Contingent Employment Committee members will receive additional information about ways to publicize the survey throughout the semester. Please stay tuned.

In Solidarity,
Fred
