During this period,&nbsp;<strong>first\u2011year and senior undergraduate students<\/strong>&nbsp;will be invited to participate. NSSE is a nationally recognized survey that provides valuable insight into students\u2019 academic and co\u2011curricular experiences, including engagement in learning, interactions with faculty, and perceptions of campus support. Results from NSSE are used to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inform student success and retention initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support program review and assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Benchmark UB\u2019s student experience against peer institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guide institutional planning and data\u2011informed decision\u2011making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because many of you work directly with students, we encourage those in&nbsp;<strong>student\u2011facing roles<\/strong>&nbsp;to help reinforce the importance of participation by reminding eligible students\u2014when appropriate\u2014to complete the survey if they receive an invitation.
