Don\u2019t Forget! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the bottom right corner of your timesheet, don\u2019t forget to give yourself earned holiday time if you worked Election and Veterans\u2019 Days.   Add a \u201c1\u201d in the \u201cEarned Amount\u201d column if you worked those days.  Election Day is considered a Floater Day, while Veteran\u2019s Day will appear as a Regular Holiday.  These days only hang around for one year after you earn them, so consider taking them before you use vacation days.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day after Thanksgiving is not a holiday.  Although the university is officially open, only essential services will be maintained.  Employees do not work should charge the day to available leave credits (excluding sick leave).  The President has designated that Election Day can be used the day after Thanksgiving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
