HR has set a deadline of September 25, 2025<\/strong> for submitting Discretionary Salary Increase (DSI)<\/strong> self-nominations. This timeline is intended to ensure supervisors have adequate time to review and consider submissions. The process applies to all Buffalo Center Chapter members\u2014both professionals and faculty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chris Putrino, Director of Employee Relations, has advised that DSI decisions remain entirely at the discretion of University leadership<\/strong>, and no formal criteria have been provided for either self-nominations or supervisory recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Importantly, the University is not officially sponsoring<\/strong> a self-nomination process. Employees are neither encouraged nor discouraged from submitting one, and all employees\u2014regardless of whether they self-nominate\u2014will be considered for DSI<\/strong>.
