{"id":6863,"date":"2024-10-03T11:48:08","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T15:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/?p=6863"},"modified":"2024-10-03T11:48:09","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T15:48:09","slug":"reminder-dsi-self-nominations-deadline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uuphost.org\/buffalo\/2024\/10\/03\/reminder-dsi-self-nominations-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder &#8211; DSI Self Nominations Deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hello all,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is reminder that the deadline for self-nominations for the 2024 distribution of Discretionary Salary Increases funding to your immediate supervisor is the <strong>end of this week, Friday, October 4th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eligibility for UUP members is to have been on payroll for the time period of July 1, 2023 \u2013 June 30, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We anticipate the process of consideration into the distribution of Discretionary Salary Increases to begin soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As per our negotiated contract, the 2024-25 DSI: 0.5% pool of total payroll is to be distributed by campuses to eligible employees at management\u2019s discretion in December of 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the distributions of these funds are subject to the administration\u2019s discretion, members should be made aware of any criteria established by their department and may also nominate themselves for consideration into a portion of these funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members are encouraged to clarify with their department any criteria, if any, that has been established with regards to the distribution of these funds.<br><br>Again, members are also encouraged to submit your self-nominations to your immediate supervisor by&nbsp;the <strong>end of this week, Friday, October 4th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Solidarity,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ken Kern<br>Chapter President<br>UUP Buffalo Center<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello all, This is reminder that the deadline for self-nominations for the 2024 distribution of Discretionary Salary Increases funding to your immediate supervisor is the end of this week, Friday, October 4th.
