Shaw will take place at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Student Union Theatre, North Campus. A reception will follow in the Student Union Social Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaw, associate vice provost and director of the Office of International Admissions, died May 2 in his Amherst home. He was 63.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A UB employee for more than 30 years, Shaw was considered by colleagues at UB and others in the international admissions field as a respected, knowledgeable and experienced professional who not only excelled as a practitioner, but who also trained and mentored fellow admission professionals \u2014 both from UB and other institutions \u2014 throughout his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/ubnow\/working\/obituaries.host.html\/content\/shared\/university\/news\/ub-reporter-articles\/briefs\/2023\/05\/obit-steven-shaw.detail.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full obituary<\/a> in UBNow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can give to the Steven L.
