Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to Tara Singer-Blumberg and Mike Formato on receiving a Local Leadership Award in Higher Education at the NYSUT-WNY 32nd Annual Awards Dinner last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tara has been the Labor Relations Specialist representing over 3700 Bargaining Unit members at both SUNY Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia Campuses. Tara is a dedicated and effective advocate who fights for workers\u2019 rights affecting the hard working and often underappreciated members of our union from management staff who attempt to take advantage of this dedicated work force. Our gratitude for Tara\u2019s work and endless dedication is immeasurable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike has been involved with UUP locally and statewide with Political Action and Outreach, as a proud member of NYSUT\/UUP for over 28 years. In addition to his political advocacy, Mike has been a consistent influencer as a member of the Chapter\u2019s By-laws Committee, Department Rep, Board Member and Chapter Delegate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Buffalo Center Chapter is honored and offers congratulations to these two outstanding individuals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
