Brothers and Sisters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WNYALF is joining the UAW, in conjunction with Rooted in Love, the Buffalo Fire Department, and the Buffalo Police Department, in holding a community event to address the food desert in the aftermath of the tragic mass shootings in Buffalo’s East Side.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event will be giving out fresh produce, groceries, and personal hygiene products at the Frank E. Merriweather Library, 1324 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14208 on Saturday, 21 May 2022, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To lend our support appropriately, we need and are looking for volunteers, and ask that you please RSVP before the end of Friday to George Boger at gboger@wnyalf.org<\/a> and provide the time you are able to volunteer, so we may effectively coordinate our efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
