Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we begin preparations for negotiations into our next contract, it is important to identify what issues\/concerns are addressed under the NYS Taylor Law, and how they relate to these negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Public Employees’ Fair Employment Act, commonly known as the Taylor Law, is a labor relations statute covering UUP employees in New York State. It is the legal foundation used by GOER in its negotiations with New York State’s public employee unions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UUP Buffalo Center Chapter will be holding a virtual workshop on the Taylor Law:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
